Van den Berg Products reduces their ecological footprint
Effective July 2010, Van Den Berg Products has entered an agreement with Van Gansewinkel Group, one of Holland’s largest waste disposal companies.
The purpose of this cooperation is the management of the waste flows within the company to ensure 95% of all waste can be recycled. This means that all waste generated in the offices and the warehouse is separated by type and offered to different waste processors for recycling.
Using their own facilities, Van Den Berg Products aims to check and repair all products that have been returned with a defect. If repair is not feasible, the product will be discarded in cooperation with Van Gansewinkel or associate companies to ensure that all parts of the product will be processed in such manner that it can be recycled and re-used as a new product in whichever form or shape possible.
By doing this Van Den Berg Products aims to reduce their impact on the environment while continuously seeking solutions to further improve this.
